Hi there! My name is Viola, and as I'm sure you can tell I'm a photographer. 

I started doing photography in high school, and I found I really enjoyed the digital aspects of this art form. I was never much of an artist in other mediums, but the combination of the act of taking a photo and then editing it to create something new sparked a passion in me.

My creation philosophy centers around capturing moments and memories. I think photography can capture everything from ordinary days to memories that will last a lifetime. I focus on the natural, avoiding the feel of a magazine ad and instead choosing to aim for something warm and personal. Looking for patches of light on a dreary PNW day, or making the most of a raincloud is something that I truly enjoy doing. From newborn shoots to senior pictures to engagement shoots, I'm open to new ideas and ready to make you feel as comfortable as possible in front of the camera.

Obviously, a lot of my photography has been centered around horses. I'm definitely a horse girl at heart, and after many summers working as a second shooter for Holly Casner at horse shows throughout WA, and riding and competing on my own horses, I've really found a knack for capturing a horse's attitude and athleticism. I can deal with your horse's shenanigans, and your dogs, and your cats, and your toddler, and all of them all at once!
